About the Billing Agent positionBilling Agent responsibilities are:Billing Agent | Duties and Responsibilities Provide support to 1-grid Customer billing & collections related queries via e-mail, telephonically, and SMSDaily collections on overdue and delinquent accountsMeeting email, call targets and collections targetsComplying with business proceduresDebt collector managementCustomer account management:Updating Customer recordsAccount activations/cancellationsAccount payment management:Allocate paymentsManage payment arrangementsAdvising Customers on account balancesAccount reconciliationsCredit and debit note managementSuspending of respective clients in line with terms offeredBlack Listing (account handovers) delinquent accountsKey Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDiscipline/respect for confidentialityGreat attention to detailProblem-solving abilityStrong administrative skillsMulti-tasking and Time ManagementExcellent analytical abilitiesCustomer service driven and brand awarenessAt all times efficient and helpfulAt all times friendly and politeAt all times, patientQualifications and Experience Matric2+ Years of customer service experience within a Billing environmentExcel experience (basic)Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English and AfrikaansWilling to work shifts (including weekends & public holidays)Reliable transportExcellent command of EnglishPaarden Eiland, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
