Our client based in the Pietermaritzburg area is seeking an organized Billing Administrative Clerk. The ideal candidate should have relevant working experience with medical billing systems, medical billing codes, submission of medical claims, medical claim queries, and patient/client services. You will be responsible for confirmation of claims submitted and the processing of payments and responses to accounts. Requirements: Grade 12 Knowledge of healthcare billing procedures, documentation and standards Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to always ensure customer satisfaction Required to perform other duties as assigned by management Data capturing of patient information on Elive systems Correlation of billing codes and tests completed Bad debt reconciliation Attends to queries to ensure prompt and efficient response Performs duties within the scope of the working instructions and SOP's Checks and reports day closure on the system to ensure continual daily operations List medical aid rejections for the day Checks the re-uploaded file for payment If you meet all of the above, please apply directly here.
