We are looking for a Bilingual Virtual Medical Receptionist for an eyecare practice. Eyecare industry experience is required and the qualified candidate must be fluent in English and French. As the front-line employee, your role will be extremely important for maintaining or improving patient experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make patients comfortable and well-informed. As a Virtual Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for various receptionist and clerical duties for the optical practice. Job duties and responsibilities Answer all incoming calls and schedule appointments, redirect the calls, or keep messagesAnswer all the customers' questions and address their complaintsGather required information from patients and medical insurance providersVerify medical insurance benefits and submit insurance claimsPrepare and manage outgoing mailCheck, sort, and forward emailsPlace supply orders when necessaryMonitor and update records and filesProvide general administrative support for the practiceJob requirements and qualificationsFluency in English and FrenchExperience and knowledge with medical insurance verification and submission of claims is a plusKnowledge of common online systems such as Gsuite, MS Office (especially Excel and Word), etc.High School diplomaAdditional qualifications will be a plusSoft Skills Team playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer-centricAbility to multitaskReliable and punctualOther RequirementsA reliable high-speed fiber internet connection (minimum 75-100Mbps).
