As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing private and public sector bids across the firm's core sectors. The role involves leading bid projects from start to finish, and ensuring bids are compelling, client-focused, and competitive. The firm also has an excellent reputation in the market for their culture; Blue Legal is proud to be partnered with a firm that values real work-life balance and flexibility.The Responsibilities:Lead the bid process, including scoping requirements, evaluating opportunities, and identifying key stakeholders.Develop a structured bid plan, manage the "go/no-go" process, and deliver against evaluation criteria.Collaborate with partners and experts to define value propositions and win themes.Draft clear, persuasive bid copy aligned with the firm's tone of voice.Oversee bid timelines from planning to submission and post-submission analysis.Work with senior stakeholders to develop pricing strategies.Maintain bid content systems and coach bid teams for client presentations.Continuously improve bid production processes and potentially manage team members.The Candidate:Extensive experience working within a legal or professional services environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry standards and client needs.Proven track record in managing and delivering successful bids, including private and public sector proposals, within competitive markets.Expertise in leading end-to-end bid processes, from scoping requirements to submission and post-submission feedback analysis.Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience in managing multiple deadlines.Proficiency in technical tools and IT systems; understanding of regulatory environments is a plus.Please note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
