Role Overview On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading international software solutions group, Deka Minas is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Solutions Consultant to support their expanding sales initiatives across global markets. This pivotal role is focused on driving new business, engaging with prospective clients, and enhancing client's brand perception through effective sales collateral and direct client engagements. You will collaborate closely with international managing directors and the business development team to contribute to strategic projects that fuel growth across diverse industries, services, and geographies. This role involves managing globally-focused RFx processes, working with regional leaders and technical experts to scope project proposals, refine details, and deliver structured, compelling responses that align with our client's high standards and innovative ethos. Key Responsibilities Partner with the business development and solutions team on strategic and administrative sales initiatives. Develop and package tailored procurement content for proposals to capture new business opportunities. Respond to website inquiries and engage proactively with cold leads to drive interest. Collaborate with designers to create visually compelling elements for sales and marketing, including mock-ups for web and mobile interfaces, process illustrations, software architectures, and branding assets. Actively participate in client meetings, building strong relationships and presenting tailored solutions throughout the sales cycle. Create and maintain high-impact sales collateral, including brochures, templates, and client case studies that demonstrate a proven track record of success. Coordinate and project manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective contributions to sales requests and RFx responses. Essential Skills and Experience While our client is dedicated to providing thorough training on their business and culture, we seek candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and capabilities from day one: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to grammar and detail. A structured and diligent approach to managing tasks and projects. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and respond efficiently to team and client needs. A self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn. Aesthetic sensibility and experience collaborating on high-fidelity mock-ups for digital applications. Proficiency in crafting engaging presentations and proposals using PowerPoint and Word. Strong storytelling ability to present compelling pitches tailored to client needs. Prior experience or knowledge in business development, marketing, sales, or software solutions is a plus. Qualifications and Additional Requirements Relevant degree. 4 years of professional experience in a similar role. Johannesburg-based, with a requirement for in-office presence. Primarily working within the South African time zone, with flexibility to occasionally attend meetings with international offices across regions such as Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
