We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exploring and unpacking complex data sets to make informed business recommendations.Duties and responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities through reengineering processes, data flows, and insights.Develop data-driven solutions to improve the client experience.Collect, transform, and analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business goals and objectives.Design and implement data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that effectively communicate complex information to a non-technical audience.Ensure data accuracy and quality by performing ongoing data validation and maintenance.Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practices.Stay current on industry trends, technology, and best practices in business intelligence, data analysis, infonomics, automation, and visualization.Help create a culture that promotes data-driven decisions backed by investigation and collaboration around data.Qualifications and experience:Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.Certification in data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and SQL.Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Banking sector (preferably).Understanding of project management methodologies and experience with project management tools such as Jira.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Technical skills:Proficient in using data visualization tools such as Power BI (Desktop and Cloud Service) + Power Query Editor.Strong SQL skills for querying large and complex data sets.Experience with data warehousing.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.Preferably have AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.Experience in process automation using tools such as Power Automate, AgilePoint, Power Apps, UiPath, or Alteryx.Ability to use scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis and manipulation.Knowledge of AutoML using Power BI or AWS Sagemaker.Advanced functions and concepts in Power BI DAX.Version Control (Git) and Microsoft productivity suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint).
