We have an amazing opportunity for a Betting Clerk to be based in Western Cape (Stellenbosch).
Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star? The position will be responsible for managing the operations of the branch in terms of taking customer bets, increasing stakes, managing cash, doing payouts, customer services, and compliance.

What You'll Do For The Brand: Branch Growth Ensure betting boards are updated timeously.Updating of memos, card changes, results, and scratchings which occur throughout the day.Be knowledgeable on all betting rules, odds, and pay-outs.Inform the Team Leaders/ Betting Manager when laying large bets that do not require confirmation.Sales Administration Manage cash within the branch according to defined processes/procedures and minimize risks, theft/fraud.Be alert to emerging attempts to defraud the company.Cash Management Ensure accurate float amounts at the beginning of the shift.Perform interim checks with the team leader throughout the day.Deal with cash shortages immediately, ensuring shortages less than R250.00 are paid back on the same day.Declare all shortages and overs to the team leader on duty.Branch Appearance Ensure that the branch is always neat and tidy according to Hollywood standards.Maintain workstations in good working condition.Comply with all procedures to prevent losses and report any issues promptly.Customer Service Provide good customer service by being friendly, helpful, polite, and courteous.Proactively address customer complaints and build strong relationships with regular customers.Compliance Adhere to company's internal control policies and code of ethics.Ensure proper dress code and compliance with betting regulations.Values Actively promote and live the Hollywood values.What You'll Bring To The Team: Good communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent listening skills.Result-driven attitude.Understanding of Mobile and Internet betting, procedures, and TUV (top-up voucher) distribution.Strong system and sales knowledge.So, are you ready to level up, learn, and perform at your best?
