£50,000-60,000 salary; pension; life assurance; employee assistance programme; cycle to work scheme; 25 days holiday to start, free refreshments.Job OpportunityWe now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Freight Business Development Manager to cover the Northwest territory.Our client is a highly successful global freight forwarder with an established international network, offering customers exceptional service at competitive prices.ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement an annual business plan to achieve your annual budget requirements.Develop agreed markets and new products to increase profitable turnover through diversification of services.Implement processes for prospect management and customer follow-up to maximize sales penetration, profitability, and customer loyalty.Achieve a new business target of a minimum of 3 times salary and 8 appointments per week.Ensure a new customer report is completed outlining all key requirements, services, and prices for each new client.QualificationsIn order to apply for this role, you will have experience in selling a multi-modal freight forwarding service.
You will be self-motivated, sales-driven, and possess a proven track record in sales.
