The Card Payments Team is responsible for the establishment and daily management of a growing business line by developing our online payment solutions. This is an outstanding opportunity for any individual with the right experience to find a quick career growth opportunity into a team leader role reporting directly to C-level executives as the business line in question is just starting to bloom. Our goal is creating one aligned effort to expand our customer base by developing our online payment solutions as well as alternative payments in the future.
The primary role of the Head of Card Payments is to lead a multi-disciplinary team of account manager(s), developer(s) and analyst(s) to meet our growth and sustainability goals employing card and alternative payments methods by onboarding, measuring, tracking and improving performance of each Payment Provider/Acquirer as well as to gather data to improve decision-making and help the team preempt risks and identify growth opportunities.
The Card Payments Team works side by side with Growth Hacking, Business Intelligence and Advertising departments and reports to the CEO/COO to continuously reach financial objectives.

Requirements7+ years of experience in the payment processing business of payment service providers and/or fintech organisations;3+ years of experience in a management role with supervisory responsibilities;Strong familiarity with online payments and alternative payment methods, ideally with specific knowledge about recurring subscription digital goods merchants;Firm technical and business understanding of payment infrastructure, value chain and card networks;Experience with formulating payment operations strategies and know what is industry best practice;Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders with the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork;Up to date knowledge on regulatory and compliance requirements;Superb verbal and written communication skills in English;Motivation and flexibility to work well in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for identifying and managing growth opportunities and sustainability within the card payment area;Implement and coordinate projects for the cross-functional team in constant alignment with Management Team to develop commercial opportunities and set the company on a sustainable revenue creation path for card payments;Ensure card payment tasks & projects are prioritized according to urgency and value and are in line with company strategy and business objectives;Be the subject-matter expert for the entire payment value chain, from onboarding to payment processing and risk management;Ensure development of close and fruitful relationships with PSPs, gateways and acquirers to deliver commercial success;Lead a strategic approach to handling Fraud Alerts and Disputes, ensuring long term, stable business;Leverage data tools to perform informed decisions and growth strategies;Pinpoint issues that are hampering growth;Lead troubleshooting until satisfactory outcomes are achieved by proposing solutions;Hold meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on the progress of Card Payments Team;Achieve qualitative and quantitative targets;Develop department procedures, policies, and standards;Act as a thought-leader for Card Payments Team;Represent Card Payments Team in all forums, including the new Management Team;Supervise the Card Payments team including staffing, coaching, performance management and problem solving;Establish and maintain reporting on initiatives and projects to relevant stakeholders.Company BenefitsWe are continually adding and improving our benefits but here are some of the perks we offer:
