Full Job Description Main Purpose of Job: Barman (Male or Female)

The Barman plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests in the bar area. The primary responsibility of the Barman is to prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages promptly and with a friendly demeanour. Additionally, the Barman will ensure that the bar area is well-stocked, maintained, and adheres to all health and safety standards.

Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wines, spirits, beers, and soft drinks. Interact with guests to take orders, suggest drink options, and ensure exceptional customer service. Bar Operations: Always maintain a clean and organized bar area. Restock bar supplies and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained. Ensure all glassware, utensils, and bar equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Follow standard recipes and preparation techniques to deliver consistent and high-quality beverages. Guest Engagement: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering personalized service and anticipating their needs. Provide information about the bar menu, including specials and promotions. Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated on the latest beverage trends, new products, and industry innovations. Comply with all liquor licensing regulations and ensure responsible service of alcohol. Adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the bar area.
