This is a 3-month contract with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to make an impact in a prestigious setting.Position Details:Position: Banqueting Co-OrdinatorLocation: BalgowanContract: 3-Month Contract, Immediate StartSalary: R10,000 GROSS per month (pending experience)Accommodation: Provided (Single, Live-in)Key Responsibilities:Event Management: Oversee the coordination and execution of weddings, conferences, and functions, ensuring all events run smoothly and meet the highest standards.Bookings & Administration: Manage bookings, payments, and all related administrative tasks, maintaining a seamless operation of the banqueting portfolio.Marketing & Promotion: Assist in marketing and promoting the banqueting services to maximize sales, working closely with the management team.On-Site Presence: Be present at all functions to ensure they are operated and maintained to the expected standards.Staff Development: Train and develop the banqueting staff to ensure exceptional service and customer care.Quality Control: Maintain systems of control, updating standards as necessary, and ensuring the consistent quality of service and operations.Requirements:Experience: Proven experience in managing banqueting operations, preferably in a luxury setting.Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Opera, and Microsoft Office.Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, deadline-driven, with a keen eye for detail.Physical Fitness: Physically fit to handle the demands of the role, including working shifts.Knowledge: Understanding of basic financial management, sales and marketing, and quality control.Perks of the Job:Accommodation: Live-in accommodation provided, including lights and water, just 900 meters from the hotel.Work Environment: Work within a stunning country house setting with a supportive team and potential for future opportunities.Working Week: 6-day workweek with 6 days off every 4 weeks.
