Bakery Manager - New World Queenstown

We're looking for a full-time Bakery Manager to join our fantastic team in the beautiful Queenstown Lakes district of Otago to plan, organise and lead the day-to-day operations of the Bakery department, ensuring top notch quality, range and consistency.
This is an exciting opportunity as we move through an extensive modernisation of the store, with retail Bakery set to be the first in flow. There is scope for unique and exciting product ranges, including donuts, sweet baking and bread baking.
Key responsibilitiesOrdering and receiving stock, regularly assessing the range to ensure it meets customer needsCreating and applying purchasing, marketing and pricing strategiesLeading, supervising and training team members in the Bakery departmentEnsuring Health & Safety regulations are followedHandling the budget for the departmentProviding excellent customer service and advice to customersHoursMinimum of 40 hours per week, specific days to be discussed at the interview stage.
About youQualified Baker or NZQF Diploma (ANZCO Skill Level 2) or higher or at least three years of relevant Bakery experience.
