Job Overview:As the Bakery Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the bakery department.
Your role is crucial in ensuring the production and delivery of high-quality baked goods while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a profitable bakery section.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:Supervise and coordinate bakery staff activities.Ensure the bakery department operates efficiently and meets quality standards.Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock.Manage the preparation and presentation of baked goods to ensure freshness and quality.
Staff Management:Recruit, train, and mentor bakery staff.Schedule shifts and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage.Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.Create a welcoming atmosphere in the bakery section.Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Quality Control:Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the bakery area.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the freshness and quality of all baked products.

Requirements:Proven experience in a bakery or food production environment, with previous management experience preferred.Experience in retail or grocery store settings is advantageous.
