Job Overview: The Timeshare Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire timeshare sales operations across SA.
This role involves strategic planning, budgeting, team leadership, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
The ideal candidate has strong managerial experience in both people leadership and budgeting, demonstrating a strong track record in driving sales growth and operational efficiency.
Extensive travel across resorts is a key part of this role.
Key responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement Ownership sales strategies to achieve sales targets country wide.
Drive opportunities that bring valuable & exciting sales campaigns and promotions across the various provincial teams Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for the sales team.
Set sales goals and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
Conduct presentations and tours of timeshare properties to prospective buyers.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Sales Operations Management: Oversee the entire sales operation for time share, and ownership sales across SA.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to timeshare sales.
Oversee contracts, documentation, and payment processes.
Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote timeshare properties.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential opportunities.
Analyse sales data and reports to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as needed.
Financial Management: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
Monitor sales expenses and ensure they are within budget.
Report on sales performance to senior management.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the timeshare industry.
Training and Development: Develop training programs for new and existing sales staff.
Keep the team updated on new products, sales techniques, and industry developments.
Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving the sales process and customer experience.
Implement new technologies and tools to enhance sales operations.
Experience Sales Leadership: 5 – 10 years experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the hospitality, timeshare, or vacation club industry.
Demonstrated success in leading and developing a high-performing sales team.
Market Expansion: Experience in expanding sales operations into new markets, including identifying opportunities, establishing offices, and building relationships with local partners.
Proven ability to drive growth in both established and emerging markets.
Call Centre Management: Experience managing inbound and outbound call centres, including setting up processes, training staff, and implementing incentive programs.
Familiarity with call centre technologies and best practices for maximising efficiency and sales outcomes.
Qualifications Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the hospitality or timeshare industry.
Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.

Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
Familiarity with call centre operations and lead management systems Relevant Sales & Marketing certifications to support a Leadership position Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Business management advantageous
