To support and contribute to a small number of products or work streams relating to the design and implementation of Cloud solutions, operating across a number of Service Teams within SBSA, and proactively engaging with internal stakeholders in the delivery of Cloud solutions.
ResponsibilitiesManage the Azure Virtual Machines, MLP's Virtual Network in Azure and VNET.Run upgrades, installations and configurations in Azure.Manage and monitor IaaS deployments using Log Analytics and Log Search.Perform configuration management and DR testing to ensure the App meets the bank's DR standards; Business Continuity and High Availability.Manage Microsoft Azure IaaS monitoring and management.Configuration of Microsoft Azure Networking.Manage connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure.Monitor network performance to comply with service-level agreements.Automate deployments and scaling of Azure IaaS Solution scripts.Drive automation of technology options within Azure.Build a well-managed enterprise environment in Azure.Manage IaaS costing model, Microsoft discounts, and recoveries.Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS) to deploy both infrastructure and applications.Utilize tools to manage the infrastructure including Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Active Directory, AD Connect, Operations Management Suite/Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Import/Export, Azure SQL Server, MySQL, Azure Automation.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Information Technology
Experience Required 1-2 years: Familiarity with systems and configuration management tools (e.g., Chef and Terraform). Experience in Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery processes in engineering teams, integrating test automation into various points in a deployment pipeline, and prior programming background in at least one or more languages: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting experience in Shell and Perl.3-4 years: Experience using production systems and technologies such as load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, microservices, and configuration management. Designing and executing small scale systems automation projects with strong autonomy. Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
