Your role will involve developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on networking and monitoring. You'll actively participate in Agile methodologies, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Technical Skills Required:Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS & Azure Monitoring, Security, and Networking.Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as GitHub, Terraform, and Terragrunt.Strong knowledge of Python development and version control systems like Git.Experience in developing Dashboards, Health monitors, Alerts, and task automation.Ability to create reports based on SQL databases and other data sources.Advantageous Technical Skills:Experience with UI frameworks like Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.Proficiency in streaming platforms or messaging systems such as Kafka or MQTT.Knowledge of Microservices, Azure Serverless Functions, AWS Lambda, and container architectures like Docker.Essential Soft Skills Required:Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behavior.Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs, proposing and implementing solutions accordingly.Proficiency in conducting user research and dealing with customers, including foreign markets.Self-starter mentality with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and work independently or as part of a team.Willingness to coach and train colleagues and users when required.Ability and willingness to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks at a time.Advantageous Soft Skills:Proficiency in German (advantageous).Experience with Agile methodologies.Knowledge of ITIL processes.Qualifications/Experience Needed:Relevant IT Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience.Minimum 3 years' experience with AWS & Azure Cloud.Minimum 3 years' experience as a Software Engineer.Your Role and Responsibilities:Develop AWS & Azure Networking and Monitoring user stories.Actively participate in all regular Scrum ceremonies.Contribute to the refinement of user stories and liaise with stakeholders and team members.Proactively share knowledge, mentor team members, and provide support for existing solutions (DevOps).Clarify open points, make proposals, and develop prototypes for further discussion.If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, apply now and become part of our dynamic team in South Africa!
