Data Engineer PositionWe are currently searching for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for driving, designing, and building scalable ETL systems for a big data warehouse.
This role will implement robust and trustworthy data to support high performing machine learning algorithms, predictive models, and support real-time data visualization requirements across the organization to enable self-help analytics.Responsibilities:Designing and developing data warehouses according to the Kimball methodology.Adept at design and development of ETL processes.SQL development experience, preferably with SAS Data Studio and AWS.The ability to ingest/output CSV, JSON, and other flat file types and any related data sources.Proficient in Python or R, or willingness to learn.Experience within Retail, Financial Services, and Logistics environments.Minimum Requirements:5 to 8 years of experience and understanding in the relevant fields.Reference Number: GZ58178.
This is a permanent position based in Bedfordview offering a cost to company of R1.1m PA, negotiable based on experience and ability.
