Our client, a well-established automotive repair provider, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Repair Estimator to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating vehicle damage, preparing precise repair estimates, and liaising with insurance adjusters and suppliers.
This position is ideal for a candidate with strong analytical skills, exceptional customer service, and a thorough knowledge of automotive repair processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in automotive damage assessment or related field.
Familiarity with automotive repair procedures, parts sourcing, and labor costs.
Familiarity with TMS/ Audatex software is vital
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer and supplier relations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Damage Assessment: Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs required, including part and labor specifications.
Estimate Preparation: Create comprehensive, accurate repair estimates, covering parts, labor, and materials to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Insurance Liaison: Coordinate with insurance adjusters to review, adjust, and finalize repair estimates, adhering to industry standards and client guidelines.
Supplier Coordination: Source parts and materials in a cost-effective manner, cultivating and maintaining relationships with suppliers to streamline the repair process.
Customer Interaction: Provide clear, professional communication with customers, explaining the estimate process and addressing any questions or concerns.
Cost Management: Monitor costs throughout the repair process, adjusting project costs as needed to reflect any changes.
