Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.Proven experience 5 years in automotive paint operations management or a similar manufacturing environment.Strong technical knowledge of automotive paint processes, equipment, and materials.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of implementing process improvements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Supervision:Lead and supervise a team of paint technicians and operators, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and performance.Operational Management:Manage day-to-day paint shop operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.Monitor paint consumption, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.Quality Assurance:Ensure that paint application meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance paint quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and production to implement process changes and innovations.Budget and Resource Management:Develop and manage departmental budgets, including forecasting expenses and capital investments.Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness in paint operations.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Prepare regular reports and presentations on paint shop performance metrics, operational KPIs, and project status updates.
