We are looking for a professional Brand Manager based in Johannesburg.
This position requires monthly travel into East Africa.
The main purpose of the role is to manage and develop this specific brand within the East African countries.Duties & ResponsibilitiesQualifications required:Matric and,3 year Degree or Diploma.Skills and experience required:Experience in the Automotive and/or Motorcycle sector is essential.Dealership experience is a non-negotiable requirement.At least 5 years of experience in a similar Business Development / Brand / Sales Management position.Talented communicator and motivator with natural authority.Confident.A highly performance-oriented approach.Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing staff.Strong Excel skills.Strong financial and business acumen is required.Thorough understanding of profit/loss and financial performance.Job description:Manage the dealer network in Africa.Provide reports and analysis relevant to the sales activity for the region.Manage order process including order planning between dealer network and OEM's.Manage the pricing function, in collaboration with the marketing and finance departments.Participate in the budget process relating to the sales function and target setting.Ensure alignment of the marketing function and the sales.Ensure sales training is in place for region as per training plan.Regular dealer visits in-country.Conduct dealership audits.Review of the dealership's sales performance vs. targets.Review and analyse market share and performance vs competitors.Check dealer debtors and ensure process/limitations are being followed.Ensure company policies/processes are being followed within the dealership.Action plans for improvement of sales volumes.Ensure correct model mix.Check ageing stock and ensure actions plans are in place.Ensure staff training has been followed by the dealer.Package & RemunerationR420 000 - R500 000 - Annually plus; Medical Aid, Pension and Incentives.
