Automotive Bookkeeper - Sandton

Reports to: Accountant / Financial Manager
Remuneration: Basic of R25000 to R30000 + Provident Fund + Medical Aid + 13 Cheque (linked to performance)
Purpose Of The Job:
Our Client is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Bookkeeper to join their dynamic and busy Team. Must have Automotive Dealership experience in maintaining bookkeeping and administration functions.
Duties, included but not limited to:

General Data Capturing
Books of Dealership and suppliers balanced
Prepare sundry invoices
Follow up age analysis
Daily cashflow monitoring
Manage and reconcile floorplan statements
Assist in preparation of monthly commissions
General ledger
Daily Bank reconciling and cash book
Processing Petty Cash Management
Performing all monthly Creditors functions – preparation and monthly reconciliation of accounts, and loading onto the bank
Loading payments
Processing supplier invoices
Raising orders and processing same
Invoicing and checking final costings
Completing VAT returns
Keeping filing up to date for all categories
Vendor apps and corresponding with suppliers
General Administrative duties

Requirements:

Current experience in the same or similar role as Bookkeeper in a Dealership environment
Minimum 2 years' experience in this position, Bookkeeper in a Dealership
Suitable Tertiary Education / Bookkeeping Qualification
Strong knowledge and experience with reconciliations, communication, conflict management, problem solving, attention to detail, time management, and accuracy

Working hours: 7:30am to 5pm OR 8am to 5:30pm
Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!
