Automation Technician

The Technician will need to undertake the following in the technical support department:Technical support primarily for DF products, but the scope of work will also include support on the entire basket of products available from Netafim.
Responsibilities include:
Development of AutoCAD drawings & designAssist in the undertaking of technical projects & Beta Sites as and when neededDirect report to DF Technical Manager, with secondary report to DF Product Manager where neededAssist with Assembly:Controllers in cabinets with protection devicesTesting software + hardware (beta sites)Wiring of cabinets and panelsTroubleshoot:Controller hardwareTelephonic support to dealers and end usersOn-Site support to dealers and end users – South Africa & SADC CountriesTraining on DF Products:Training of dealers and end users on correct usage of Netafim automation equipmentFilter Bank:Where required assist with the servicing of filter banks and back flush controllers
