Job Ref #: FH-419Industry: FintechJob Type: PermanentSalary: Market RelatedDescription:Day to day responsibilities will include:Test planning and design of test scenariosTest case preparation and maintenanceTest case reviewsTest case executionLogging and tracking of defects through to completionTest reporting throughout test environmentsTesting for production supportProvide regular feedback to team members, developers and stakeholdersAttend daily stand-ups and provide testing progressAbility to work some evenings for live deployments (2 - 3 nights per month)Requirements:Minimum requirements:Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification5+ years' experience in a testing or similar rolePrevious experience working within a FinTech/Retail, Payments or Banking environment is preferredAPI testing experience (must have)Experience using API testing tools like POSTMAN, JMETER, RAPID API, SoapUI, REST-assured, Catalon Studio, Apigee (must have)Experience in CI/CD tools like JenkinsExperience using LinuxAutomation testing experienceExperience of working with enterprise scale application stacksExposure to the full software development lifecycleSkills:Proficiency in database queriesFamiliarity with programming script languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)Excellent analytical skillsStrong attention to detailCommitted to delivering high quality workTaking ownership of work deliveredMotivatedGood problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood communication skills, both oral and writtenPassion for software testing and the SDLCDebugging and problem-solving skills
