Automation Help Desk Technician

Are you mechanically and technically astute with expertise in automation software?
Then this role is for you.Requirements:Education:Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or a similar role.Hands-on expertise in Siemens and Beckhoff systems.Knowledge of industrial drive systems and troubleshooting hybrid mechanical and automation issues.Certifications : MillwrightKey Skills:Automation Software Proficiency:Expertise in Siemens and Beckhoff platforms.Advanced troubleshooting skills in PLCs, SCADA, and motion control systems.Drive System Knowledge:Strong understanding of servo drives, VFDs, and communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus).Basic Mechanical Knowledge:Familiarity with mechanical components and their integration with automation systems.Communication:Excellent customer service skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Fluent in EnglishProblem-Solving:Capable of diagnosing and resolving multidisciplinary issues quickly and efficiently.
Additional Requirements:Willingness to work flexible hours to support customer needs.Occasional travel to customer sites or HQ in Italy for training and support.
