Automation Engineer

You will be working in a medium-sized public engineering company involved in electrical engineering, process control and industrial automation.

Duties: Electrical Engineering Design and Review Act as owner's engineer to review and correct electrical design Develop technical documentation such as Design Specifications Load list setup and review Design system architectures Develop testing documentation and procedures Client facing factory acceptance testing Block cable diagrams Panel layouts Cable / detail functional calculations Detailed engineering package designs (AutoCAD and E-Plan) Experience in schematic diagrams, earthing drawings, layout drawings and routing drawings Control Systems and Industrial Automation Design Control system software design and development (TIA/PCS7/WinCC/STEP7) Control system hardware design (PLC/SCADA and networks) based on technical specifications Modifications to existing PLC and HMI programs and fault finding Developing new software for customer specific applications Software system specifications Onsite installation, testing, and commissioning Bio-Gas Generator Plant Commissioning Steel Mill Automation Commissioning
