Automation Engineer

Our esteemed client located in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, is currently seeking to fill a permanent Automation Engineer position.
This role will design, build and implement automated systems for new and existing production machinery.
Qualifications: Grade 12National Diploma/B-Tech in Electrical/Mechatronics EngineeringDriver license and own transportExperience: 5+ years minimum relative experienceProven experience in designing and implementing automated systemsStrong proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshootingFamiliarity with electrical CAD softwarePLC Training Courses and CertificationAutomotive Industry experienceExperience with Siemens and Phoenix Contact PLC NextProject ManagementKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus)
