Lead fieldwork, including risk assessments and audit strategy preparation.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring teamwork and skill development.
Review team members' work and provide constructive feedback.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively.
Ensure adherence to SAICA, IRBA, and other local regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality reviews of audit files to ensure compliance with firm policies.
Draft financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other frameworks.
Present audit conclusions and key findings to clients and management.
Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
Recommend process improvements for audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related field (e.g., BCompt, BAcc, or CTA).
Completion of SAICA articles is mandatory.
Experience in a medium-sized audit firm is preferred.
Post-articles experience is advantageous.
Proficiency in auditing software and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CA(SA) designation is advantageous but not required.
