Job DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible for risk monitoring on our suite of products by identifying vulnerabilities that make the system susceptible to hacking. They must be able to identify player/betting behaviour and determine which, if any, are taking advantage of any loopholes on the system. They will work closely with the support team, which operates 24 hours a day, and may be required from time to time to be available during similar hours. This role will be at a junior level initially, with the potential to grow into a more senior role and grow a team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitoring betting activity based on the Notifications system built into the application.Fine-tuning Operators configurations for the Notifications system, to lower the quantity of notifications and increase accuracy.Investigating and understanding betting behaviour.Betting and transactional risk mitigation and risk reduction.Improving existing notifications system.Identifying, specifying new tools, alert systems, and reporting for the team's function.Assessing risk in the design of new product solutions and developments.Stakeholder EngagementAbility to work as part of the greater organisational team but also work independently, as well as work with clients.Maintain and manage positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Effectively communicate at all management levels with clients/stakeholders.Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.Self-management and TeamworkDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders.Positively influence and participate in change initiatives.Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry, and legislation knowledge.Take ownership for driving career development.Desired Experience & QualificationMinimum Qualifications• Matric qualification.• Diploma/Degree in Risk Management / Information Technology / Audit / Forensics or similar.Minimum Experience• Basic experience in betting behaviour is beneficial.• Sports betting knowledge and understanding would be advantageous.• 3 – 5 years of risk auditing and monitoring.• Experience and basic knowledge of the software development industry.• Technical understanding of computer systems and their potential weaknesses.
