Audit Senior – Pretoria

Shift Pursuit has partnered with a finance firm specialising in audit, accounting, tax advisory and business consulting. We are looking for a competent Audit Senior with completed SAICA articles and someone who resides in Pretoria, Gauteng to join their team. You will gain valuable experience in audit and accounting while working alongside a knowledgeable team and helping organisations increase their efficiency.
Requirements:

BCom Accounting or similar related degree
Completed SAICA articles
Ability to do audit planning
Exposure to managed businesses
Accounting software experience
Fluent in Afrikaans & English

Key Performance Areas:

Perform basic audit tests and procedures under supervision
Plan and execute audits
Review audit workpapers
Manage audit projects and client portfolio
Evaluation of budget vs actual income
Preparing audit reports
Assessing and evaluating client's annual financial statements
Reviewing of the general ledger, trial balance and performing reconciliation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
Gain exposure to various accounting systems and software
Support senior team members in ad-hoc tasks and projects
