Audit Senior

Main Purpose of The PositionThe responsibility of the Audit Senior is to ensure that audits are performed at client. In addition, an Audit Senior is required to plan audits and supervise staff while performing required duties at our clients.Duties & responsibilities:Audit Requirements:Perform audits with minimal supervision.Delegate team responsibilities.Ensure budget requirements are maintained.Ensure expected quality of audit is delivered.Conduct audits, reviews, and draft financial statements.Manage the audit and trainees on the engagement while at client.Report to clients and manage client relationships.Supervise Audit Trainees as follows:Review work generated by employees.Training interventions – training of lower-level employees.Plan audits with reference to year ends and deadlines.Minimum level of Education:CA Qualification.Honours/ B.Com.Non-B.Com.Competencies required:Robust communication skills.Critical thinking and business intelligence.Interpersonal skills.Teamwork abilities.Problem-solving abilities.Strong work ethic.Strong organizational skills.Technical skills required:Proficiency in Caseware Working Papers and Microsoft Excel is essential.Other:Must have completed SAICA Articles and external applicants will be required to serve a minimum of 6 months' probation before being eligible to apply for this position.
