Job Summary:
The purpose of GIA is to provide independent, objective assurance to the Board of Directors via the Group Audit Committee that the governance processes, risk management, and systems of internal control are adequate and effective to mitigate risks, both current and emerging, that threaten the achievement of the Group's strategy and key objectives. This is done in accordance with the GIA Internal Audit Methodology, helping to improve the internal control and risk culture of the Group.
GIA receives its authority from the Group Audit Committee (GAC), established to review the work of Internal Audit of the Group and its subsidiaries
Accountability of the Group Internal Audit Portfolio Manager: CreditPurpose: To deliver on the annual audit plan thereby providing reasonable assurance to stakeholders that key risks are being mitigated through adequate and effective management controls in accordance with Group Internal Audit (GIA) methodology.
The Manager, in the discharge of his/her duties, shall be accountable for: Perform data analytics and attend audit related meetings. End-to-end audit execution as required (planning, fieldwork, reporting) Documentation of working papers and conclusion of the audit on TeamMate in line with the GIA methodology
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal audit teams, business and key stakeholders to ensure robustness and completeness of audit coverage and provide insights to enhance assurance provided over the control environment
Write the audit report for this auditQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Essential qualifications required: BSc / BCom
CIA, CFE, ACAMS (optional)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED The following minimum experience is required:
Manager equivalent with 6 – 8 years' experience with specific experience in:
AML and Fraud/ experience
Data Analytics
Coding in SAS and SQL
Audit experience (optional)
