Job Description Position: Au Pair for two siblings.
Location: Sunningdale area.
We are looking for someone who is creative and playful, has lots of energy and loves working with younger neurodivergent children.
This person would be au pairing two siblings: a 7-year-old autistic boy who loves the outdoors, playing with cars and swimming, as well as his 4-year-old brother who loves monster trucks, puzzles and being active.
This position requires someone to support their nervous systems with a very gentle and non-directive, neuro-affirming approach.
Job Description: · Fetching them from school to take them to extra mural activities and OT appointments.
· Assisting with home-work (eldest sibling) and OT exercises.
· Supporting them with co-regulation, sensory/movement breaks, and planning engaging, fun activities for each week that are in line with their interests, while still supporting their need for autonomy.
· To ensure using a gentle, non-directive communication style (declarative language).
· Ensuring strong communication with the parents.
· Assist with making meals and snacks for the children.
· Assist with cleaning and bathroom routines for the children.
Requirements Job Requirements: · Must have previous experience in a similar role with neurodivergent children.
· Previous experience or knowledge of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) is preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
· Must be very organised and have strong executive functioning skills.
· Must have a neuro affirming and low arousal approach.
· Willingness to learn more (and implement) about the type of support structure and accommodations that need to be in place for these little boys.
· Available for long-term commitment.
· Have a valid driver's license.
· Qualification in psychology or education would be an advantage.

Requirements • Familiarity and knowledge of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) - Essential.
• Familiarity with low arousal, child-led, neuro-affirming approach - Essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the family and other support systems.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to the child's needs and family's schedule.
