Attendance Officer

Morgan Hunt are exclusively working with a college based in East London that are looking for Attendance Officers to join their exceptional team.
The college are looking for the Attendance Officers to start ASAP, on a full-time basis.
Good attendance is linked to higher grades, and the Student Attendance Officers play a key part in our ambition to improve student success. Attendance Officers liaise with students, external agencies, colleagues, parents, and guardians to promote good attendance and understand personal barriers that students might be facing. This will primarily involve calling students and their parent/carers to understand reasons for absence and to support them to engage effectively.
You will need to have great interpersonal skills, be highly organised, and enjoy engaging with young people. We have a wide range of support roles at the college, and the role may suit individuals wishing to progress within the education sector.
