Key ResponsibilitiesSales
Acquire new business opportunities and grow our ATM presence.
Generate leads, create a database, and identify potential sites.
Achievement of sales targets broken down per device per month.
Revenue and profit target.
Expense control in relation to sales ensuring that actions are done efficiently and costs are managed.
Identify and follow up business leads.
Planned approach to target new customers.
Utilising leakage statistics per Province and Region to acquire business with merchants in the area.
Increase ATM footprint/representation nationally in the retail sector and grow market share.
Ensure profitable devices are deployed and cost-to-income targets are within acceptable departmental targets.
Minimise underperforming ATMs that are below the agreed thresholds.
Reduce ATM net pay away where it makes sense.
Maintain individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets agreed upon by the channel.
Adhere to service standards and best practices to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure all devices perform within the breakeven threshold.
Weekly and monthly monitoring of stats.
Build relationships with existing clients to get referrals.
Assess site feasibility.
Meet with the customer to complete the application.
Discuss and negotiate the terms of the agreement.
Present different types of ATMs and deals.
Ensure all supporting documentation is complete and submitted.
Forward details of the site to security.
Keep in touch with relevant departments to track installations.
Advise the client of the installation spot and type of signage that will be used.
Monitor the ATM and transactions post-installation.
Deal with any follow-ups from various departments.
Client onboarding.
Obtain CIT approval for all sites prior to signing the contract.
Ensure site readiness with the operational teams and update the merchant throughout the onboarding journey.
Customer Service & Retention
Always ensure confidentiality of customer information.
Regular site visits to existing customers to ensure satisfaction with services.
Conduct customer service review sessions to determine profitability and performance of devices.
Effective query and complaints resolution followed by appropriate escalation.
Ensure merchant needs are addressed timely and effectively.
Delight internal and external merchants through management of sales territory.
Be the focal point of contact for the merchant.
Plan regular merchant visits.
Develop and maintain existing customer relationships and networks.
Ensure speedy query resolution through adherence to the service level agreement.
Contract Management
Capture and complete all fields and protocols on agreements and contracts timely and accurately.
Request supporting documents (e.g., FICA documents) as per legislation.
Capture client information upfront on installation request forms for merchant/vendor profile and account settlements.
Ensure all contracts under management are signed and up to date weekly and monthly.
Ensure clients have contracts that are regularly reviewed in line with regulatory changes.
Assist the merchant with the contract, explaining terms and conditions.
Ensure all client documents are collected and filed per Net1 requirements.
Ensure clients and contracts are FICA compliant.
Operational Support
Manage the client and site regarding operational issues (e.g., cash out).
Act as a single point of contact to resolve all local service issues that arise.
Monitor and engage the ATM Command Centre regarding downtimes.
Planning
Develop clear sales plans and actionable actions.
Create weekly call plans and management.
Develop customer service plans to address retention.
Implement a formal sales plan and strategy.
Target new customers with a planned approach.

Qualifications and ExperienceGrade 12.
Relevant tertiary qualification (degree in Public Relations/Marketing).
Minimum 3 years' experience in Sales is an advantage.
Proven ability to negotiate, close deals, and resolve conflicts.
Ability to generate own leads.

Client Focus: Creates a "customer first" environment to ensure a superior client experience; anticipates client's needs and issues and can prioritize appropriately; builds strong professional relationships with clients; provides timely communication and relevant information to meet client needs.
Negotiation: Possesses good negotiation skills that lead to a sense of satisfaction for all parties involved.
