Associate (Maritime Law)

Minimum Job Requirements: LLM or studying towards LLM in Maritime Law. Studying towards an Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification (strong advantage). Minimum 3 years litigation experience, preferably Maritime Law. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide clear legal advice on complex legal matters. Act as Counsel on legal issues. Contact and liaise with clients. Research and analyse relevant regulatory requirements and translate into business solutions. Draft legal opinions, affidavits, pleadings and related Court documents. Build and maintain business relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Competencies: Communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and plan.
