Assisting in the arranging of syndicated facilities for clients, as a core product offering.Custodian of senior relationships with syndication partners, including South & Central Africa region, SA and international banks, specialised debt funds, and institutional investors.Integral part of the bank's internal governance process in relation to the pitching for, structuring of, and sanctioning of credit facilities; including opining on the appropriateness of transaction structures and pricing, and determining whether the bank can take underwriting risk on facilities.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsType of Qualification: Finance CA, CFA, BcomExperience Required3-4 years of proficient front office Investment Banking (IB) experience, with knowledge of local and global lending products and solutions. The development of alternative forms of distribution will allow the Bank to be more competitive, especially in funding debt to top-tier corporate clients.3-4 years of seasoned experience and knowledge of financial modelling with the ability to conduct financial analysis and credit risk evaluations. Developing experience working independently and managing concurrent work processes and multiple workstreams with minimal supervision.3-4 years of seasoned experience in understanding the Lending cycle and process, supported by the ability to lead and manage Distribution deal strategies from cradle to grave.Additional InformationNone Negotiables:Proven experience in Investment Banking Structuring & Specialised Financing; with a minimum of 4 years of Deal Making at a Middle to Senior level.Originating and Debt Products Structuring experience; building and maintaining client relationships both internal and external.General exposure to Global Markets Sales business, various desk functions, and products.Driving Delivery of Results:Proactively identifies business opportunities or barriers to business performance and addresses them.
