Job OverviewWorking with data engineering and data science teams on technical and strategic planning and execution of department goalsPerform detailed analysis on microfinance data for the generation of business level recommendationsPresentation of analysis and recommendations to executive teamsImplementation of recommendations and evaluation of their performanceDesigning, building and deployment of machine learning models and statistical optimisations in the financial industryInvestigation of product idea feasibility, MVP scoping and technical developmentAcademic Background:Engineering, mathematics, computer science, or any other STEM related degree (Honours level)Graduated with distinctionMasters degree is advantageousExperience:1+ year experience in a client facing role presenting analytics to business teams1+ year experience performing analytics, generating findings and implementing improvementsTechnical Skills:Principle understanding of machine learning and statistics; hands-on experience with machine learning is advantageousExperience manipulating data with Python (Pyspark is a plus)Data visualisation experienceSoft Skills:Great at communicating upwards to executive teamsFriendly and client centric thinkerAlways keen to learn and push for excellenceElucidate AI offers remote and hybrid working options, learning development opportunities and has unlimited annual leave!
