Key Responsibilities:Assist with Customer Deliveries: Support the coordination of timely and efficient customer deliveries, ensuring a smooth process.Administrative Support: Help maintain and manage various administrative functions for the yard.Team Support: Assist the Yard Supervisor in motivating, guiding, and developing staff to ensure the yard operates effectively.Forklift Maintenance Assistance: Support the team in ensuring forklifts are in good working condition by checking oil, water, and mechanical components.Attendance Tracking: Help monitor and manage staff attendance, ensuring there are no disruptions in yard operations.Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers driving into the yard, ensuring their needs are attended to.Compliance Support: Ensure all yard activities are carried out in compliance with legal and safety regulations.Discrepancy Reporting: Report any discrepancies or issues to the Yard Supervisor or management promptly.Roster Assistance: Help manage staff rosters, ensuring coverage for weekends and public holidays.Stock Management: Assist in the accurate and efficient management of yard stock, including regular stock checks.Physical Inspections: Assist with checking stock and delivery vehicles leaving the yard to ensure proper loading and accuracy.Promote Company Culture: Uphold the companys values and culture, assisting the Yard Supervisor in maintaining a harmonious work environment.Preferred Candidate Requirements:At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a desire to grow in a supervisory position.A Technical qualification or Diploma is preferred.Basic computer skills required.Familiarity with relevant systems is an advantage.If you're an organized, reliable, and motivated individual eager to grow in a leadership role, we want to hear from you!
