Assistant Waiter Cruise Ships Key Responsibilities: Assist the Waiter in taking food and beverage orders from guests Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner Ensure all tables are set up properly and have all necessary items Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meals Assist with restocking of supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fastpaced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work well in a team Willingness to work long hours and on weekends and holidays Basic knowledge of food and beverage service Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry trays and other items up to 25 pounds Must be able to maintain a professional appearance at all times If you have a passion for providing exceptional service and are looking for an exciting career opportunity then we want to hear from you!
