Job Description As an Assistant Store Manager, your responsibilities will include: Ensuring continuity, growth, and profitability of the store through the management of costs and maximization of sales turnover and returns.
Identifying new business opportunities, taking calculated risks, and generating innovative ideas for implementing new business opportunities and maximizing sales.
Managing stock in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-merchandised retail area.
Maintaining all pricing on products, shelf, and bulk displays in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assisting with calculating and saving the expected contents of the till and resetting it ready for the next day of operation.
Inspiring, motivating, guiding, developing, and managing employees to meet the store's objectives while applying company policies and best practice principles.
Monitoring and enhancing the performance of sales staff.
Ensuring customer complaints are dealt with effectively and resolved.
Coordinating promotions, advertising, and public relations to enhance the brand's market share in line with company procedures.
Assisting the Store Manager with analyses of operational information to diagnose problems and identify success areas in the business.
