Assistant Resident Engineer

Job & Company Description: My client is active in the toll planning sector, operating in South Africa and internationally, managing projects from feasibility to implementation and operational management. They are seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to join their team. The Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing a significant road construction project in Pretoria East. This includes widening, rehabilitation, service relocation, traffic management, and associated civil works. The project duration is approximately 3 years, and the ARE will collaborate closely with and report to the Resident Engineer. Education: BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering ECSA registration advantageous Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 5 years experience in civil works contact supervision of improvement or new construction of roads Knowledge and experience of GCC 2015 will be an advantage Experience in quality control of pavement construction Supervision and quality control of construction of concrete bridges and water crossing structures Apply now
