DescriptionResponsibilities Include: Arranging of all funerals and cremationsObtain and complete all legal documentation for funerals and cremationsMaintain all funeral recordsOffer counselling and comfort to bereaved familiesHandle payments and invoicingMarketing and sales of funerals, tombstones, and AVBOB insurance productsRender client service and assist with complaintsQualifications Required for the Position:Grade 12Driver's license, own reliable transport, and cell phoneClear credit and criminal recordComply with FAIS legislation for registration as Fit and Proper individuals:Applicants who entered the industry from 2004 – 2007 require 30 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2009.From 2008 - 2009 require 30 credits or 60 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2011 or a full FAIS recognised qualification obtained by 31 December 2013.All those appointed in the industry from the year 2010 onwards require a full FAIS recognised qualification.Experience Required for the Position:Business and functional experience in the funeral industry will be an advantage.
