Position Overview
Career Recruit, in partnership with our client, is seeking a self-driven and motivated Assistant Product Manager / Demand Planner to join the Home Electronics Product Management Team. This role is critical in creating, maintaining, and delivering product knowledge strategies within defined scope, time, and budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities

Planning & Demand Management:

Organize and coordinate the demand planning process, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Manage statistical forecasts, leveraging data analytics to identify and address potential issues.
Perform volume forecasting for new products, particularly within the Critical Care product line, with a focus on enhancing forecast accuracy.
Utilize Six Sigma techniques to drive continuous process improvements in forecasting and demand planning.


Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

Review Global Supply Chain Portal (GSCP) supply plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Conduct Channel Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) analysis, addressing issues in Purchase Sales Inventory and Continuous Planning Forecast and Replenishment (CPFR) meetings.
Manage Estimated Quotation Limit (EQL) models, supporting the Critical Care Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Continuously develop and refine tools, reports, and analytics to support the Critical Care Supply Chain organization.
Analyse business and customer requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and leading the implementation of performance enhancement projects.


Reporting & Analysis:

Compile and present progress reports on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Analyse market data, sales figures, and other key metrics to monitor and ensure the achievement of profitability and revenue targets.



Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills:

Strong analytical skills with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in project management, with a deep understanding of product and retail business operations.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.


Generic Competencies:

Expertise in quantitative and business analysis.
Solid understanding of marketing principles and practices.
Strong work ethic with a proactive and innovative approach to challenges.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, with strong organizational capabilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Exceptional presentation skills and a strong customer service orientation.



Experience
2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, with previous experience in product management or related fields. Knowledge of supply chain and marketing management is essential. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience in the FMCG sector is an advantage.
Educational Requirements
Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
