Assistant Planner

Assistant Planner required for a manufacturing company based in East London.Qualifications:Grade 12 (with Maths or Physical Science will be advantageous)Job Requirements:2 years experience within a manufacturing and printing industry ESSENTIALComputer literacy (MS Excel advanced, Word, PowerPoint)In-house systems (JDE, KIWI, ABACA, WORKFLOW) will be advantageousStrong administrative and statistical backgroundWork independently to meet deadlinesResponsibilities:Assist senior planner with planning function.Collect, analyse and record data according in a prescribed format.Compiling stats and generating reports.Identify stock and surplus board for converting into orders.Assist with monthly stock take and compile report.Ensuring inks and stereo numbers are correct on PI and Shopware.Managing dies, stereo receipts, issues, repairs and follow up.Checking bundle quantities are updated as well as pallet quantities.Review daily issues and receipts of paper.Update overrun report.Check quantities book in vs production output.Ensure all activities and duties are performed in accordance with the Companies Policy, Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993, Legal and Statutory Requirements, Customer Requirements and ISO Standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001, FSC and FSSC22000).Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
