Focused on the fast-growing self-storage sector, a niche sub-sector of the broader commercial property market, Stor-Age develops, acquires, and manages high-profile self-storage properties.Listed on the JSE in 2015 and ranked in the Sunday Times' top 100 companies, Stor-Age now seeks to appoint at least one (1) Assistant Operations Manager based in the Boland region.The successful incumbents will be responsible for driving sales and inspiring exceptional front-line customer service aligned with the company's core values of excellence, sustainability, relevance, and integrity.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponding to customer enquiriesEstablishing an immediate rapport with potential customersAdministering customer accountsDelivering excellent front-line customer serviceWorking with all store-based staff as a teamMinimum RequirementsHave a post-matric qualification – degree, diploma or related certificate(s) (NQF7)Are sales orientated with a successful track record of "closing deals"Have performed administrative tasks with careful attention to detailHave excellent communication skills in English (telephonically, in-person, hand-written or electronically)Are IT literate (a competent user of email, the internet, MS Office and point-of-sales system(s))Have your own transport and a valid driver's licenseAre prepared to work 45 hours per week over a 5.5-day weekLive in close proximity to the areas advertisedPackage & RemunerationA market-related salary of between R12 000 - R15 000 plus an incentive-based commission will be offered.NoteThis is a primarily sales-related position - not in the logistics or bulk-warehousing industry.
