Assistant Manager: RU Sports (Grade 13) Division of Student Services and Development The Division of Student Services and Development is seeking suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
Main Objectives To assist and support the Head of Sport in driving and executing sport at Rhodes University. Responsible for providing support to the Head of Sport as well as managing the day-to-day operations within the department.
The Requirements A relevant NQF Level 7 qualification plus 6 years' relevant working experience, including:
At least 2 to 4 years' relevant working experience within an education/service-oriented environment in sport with a high level of interaction with students.Previous supervision/management experience.Experience in administering & organizing sport at club/tertiary and/or provincial and/or national level.Previous experience in playing sport and/or a demonstrated ongoing interest in sport.Previous experience in organizing sporting events/tournaments.Basic computer literacy; word-processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet.Driver's License Code: EB or code 8.Application Process It is essential that prospective candidates read the job profile for further information and ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted.
