Job description: We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Manager and Barista to support the daily operations of our coffee shop. In this role, you'll work closely with the Coffee Shop Manager to ensure smooth service, maintain high standards, and motivate our team. Your leadership will be key in creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Key responsibilities: Assist in managing daily operations, including opening and closing dutiesLead, train, and support baristas and other team membersEnsure consistent quality in coffee and food preparationHandle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptlyManage inventory, including ordering and stock controlOversee cash handling and daily financial reconciliationAssist in staff scheduling and ensuring optimal coverageUphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shopStep into the Manager's role when needed Desired experience and qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a coffee shop/retail or similar environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPassion for coffee and commitment to qualityFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
