Assistant Internal Auditor

REQUIREMENTS

South African citizen, currently residing in Kariega or immediate surrounds
National Diploma/ Degree: Auditing or Accounting
Completed articles in Internal/ External Audit
One year post-articles experience handling internal audit for a private company
Valid, unendorsed driver's license, and own transport

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct internal audits from planning to finalization, within the required timeframe
Identify and report on weaknesses in the company's internal control environment
Make recommendations for the improvement of any control weaknesses
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations
Conduct follow-up audits and ad hoc investigations
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Compile weekly audit reports based on audit findings
Participate in the preparation of Finance Review Committee reports and packs, as directed
Participate in the preparation of the annual internal audit plan
