Requirements:

Competent all-rounder with knowledge of all lodge operational aspects (Rooms Division, F&B, Maintenance, Finances, HR, Project Management etc.)
The perfect candidate will have 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role in a 3 or 4 -star luxury lodge environment.
Exceptional knowledge when it comes to the Food and Beverage department (Essential).
Strong personality, highly motivated and strong financial acumen.
Excellent people skills, good at managing teams.
Finer attention to detail and maintaining a guest centric approach in everything.
Highly presentable with excellent communication skills and balanced emotional intellect.
Valid driver's license Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma.

Description:

Acts as the second in charge and leading the team in the absence of the GM.
The Assistant General Manager will assist the GM in development and implementation of property operational standards and initiatives.
Implement systems and procedure that ensure consistent service delivery in respect of the day to day running of the Lodge.
Proactively manage guest feedback and ensure that action points are in place with the Heads of Departments.
Monitor service delivery in all areas of the lodge and identifying performance gaps and ensuring that corrective points are in line.
Strong ability to train, mentor, develop and continually improve the team.
