ITC Hospitality Group is a fast-growing CBD-based and privately owned property letting and management company that has been in the industry for 20 years. The Company currently represents 4 and 5-star graded and serviced apartments located within the Cape Town CBD, Foreshore and De Waterkant areas. We are currently recruiting for an energetic, well-organised Front Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all front office personnel
Participates in the selection of front office personnel
Schedules the front office staff shifts
Supervises workload during shifts
Evaluates the job performance of each front office employee
Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments
Damages to be communicated to guests and monitored for payment
Maintains master key control
Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated
Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel
Receives information from the previous shift manger and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager
Checks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift
Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel
Always wears the proper uniform and maintain a neat appearance. Requires all front office employees to always wear proper uniforms

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Accommodation Certificate/ Hotel School diploma is advantageous
At least 2 years' previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5-star hotel/Self Catering guest House or self-catered apartments
Familiar with all duties and procedures in Front Office Department
MS Office (Word, Excel and Email) is essential
1 years' Channel manager experience essential
Valid Driver's licence
Third language is advantageous
